All employees working in the project on-site are local Ecuadorians. If possible they are supported by two Swiss volunteers. The head of the project is Carmen Barros. She is a trained lawyer and holds a formation as educator from the CECAFEC (Centre for further education for street educators). She has spent many years as a social worker while acting for Terre des Hommes.

“El Centro” is co-ordinated by Jorge Garcia who also completed his CECAFEC training. He has a history of experience in development and works also as a music pedagogue in the project-inter music group.
